No one deserves to be homeless – The SleepBus initiative will help give a safe night sleep to up to 20 people per night. Together with Lifehouse Care the SleepBus Fundraiser is well on the way to reaching the target goal of $100,000 to bring this hotel pod on wheels to Coffs Harbour for emergency overnight accommodation. I had the honour and privilege of being involved on the day. A very big thankyou to Doris Rake for organising the event, and to Alison Paul from NBN news for her talented MC’ing, and thank you to all attendees, bidders and donators (especially one very generous couple who donated $20,000). Lastly a personal thank you to my wonderful and very supportive wife Janie Bourne for handling the Door Entry and Raffle Ticket sales.

The event was held on Saturday the 13th of May at Coffs Surf Club Restaurant and Bar.
